39% of food waste happens early in the chain, on farm, producer and packaging level. This waste did not reach the restaurant or foodservice-market.

As Salud Foodgroup Europe handles frozen avocado products the shelf life is much longer compared to fresh products, easy to store in the freezer and thaw partly as much as needed so no waste has to be spilled.

Frozen avocado products are pre-cleaned and pre-cut, so you don’t have to wash them, which saves water, and there for quick and easy to use.
