Water is one of the world’s most critical resources, and increasing pressure from climate change and agriculture is making sustainable water use more important than ever.

Working towards responsible water use

We work closely with the Sustainability Initiative Fruit and Vegetables (SIFAV) to improve how water is managed across our supply chain.

In regions where water is scarce, we support our growers in adopting better water management practices. This includes more efficient irrigation, water recycling, and the use of recognised sustainability standards.

We also use tools such as the WWF Water Risk Filter to identify where action is most needed and to guide our efforts.

Creating impact together

Water challenges cannot be solved alone. That’s why we are involved in collaborative initiatives together with partners, suppliers, and local stakeholders.

One example is our work in the Ica Valley in Peru, where we contribute to projects aimed at improving water efficiency and strengthening long-term water availability.

By working together across the value chain, we aim to support more sustainable farming, protect local ecosystems, and contribute to responsible use of water resources.

Our commitments

Our activities impact people, society, and the environment across the entire value chain. We embrace our social and societal responsibility with an ecologically sustainable approach as our foundation. Our goal is to contribute to the welfare of local communities and create a positive social and environmental impact globally, both now and in the future.
