In 2017, 200 trees were planted on the grounds of Salud Foodgroup Europe in Oosterhout, the Netherlands. The trees contribute to a greener working environment and support local biodiversity.

Tree planting can provide benefits such as shade, improved habitats for wildlife and a more pleasant outdoor space for employees and visitors. Over time, trees can also absorb carbon dioxide as they grow, although this is only one part of a broader approach to reducing environmental impact.

For Salud, this initiative reflects our commitment to improving the environment around our own site and supporting nature where we can make a practical contribution.
